Transfer to the Hotel. In the evening an orientation talk will be given by your local escort. Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 02: PARO-PARO
Morning, drive to Drukgyel Dzong, 21kms away from the Hotel. On the way back, visit a typical Bhutanese farmhouse and a sightseeing trip to Paro town. After lunch, drive to Ta Dzong which house the National Museum followed by a short walk to Paro Rimpung Dzong. Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 03: PARO-THIMPHU
After breakfast, drive to Satsam Chorten. Then take 3 hours pony trek to the Taktsang cafeteria from where you could view the Taktsang Monastery built in the 13th century.After lunch, walk back to Satsam Chorten, followed by 2 hours drive to Thimphu. Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 04: THIMPHU-THIMPHU
In the morning, witness mask and folk dances performed by the Royal Academy of Performing Arts. After that, visit the National Library and Memorial Chorten. After lunch, visit the Handicrafts Emporium and stroll Thimphu town. In the evening, visit the Tashichhodzong. Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 05: THIMPHU-PUNAKHA
In the morning, visit the painting school (when in session) followed by a short drive to see the traditional gold and silver smiths and their crafts. After lunch, drive to Punakha via the Dochula pass at an altitude of 3100m. Overnight at Hotel.

Morning drive to Punakha for sightseeing. Then drive to Wangdue valley for lunch and proceed to Trongsa. Overnight at Lodge.

After breakfast, visit the outer premises of Trongsa Dzong and the Ta Dzong (Watch Tower) followed by leisure time in Trongsa Bazar. After lunch, drive to Bumthang valley across the Yotonla Pass at an altitude of 3404m. Overnight at Lodge.

DAY 08: BUMTHANG-URA-BUMTHANG
Drive to Ura. Visit the Ura Lhakhang and after lunch drive through the picturesque valley of Bumthang to view Kurje Lhakhang. On the way back, stop at the Tang Mebartsho or the Burning Lake of Tang. Overnight at Lodge.

Early morning, drive back to Punakha with picnic lunch on the way. En route, visit Gangtey Dzong and the Phobjikha valley. This place is home to the endangered black necked cranes, when they migrate here from Tibet in the winter. Overnight at hotel.

After breakfast drive to Thimphu. Lunch at a local restaurant and stroll town. In the evening, drive to Paro for an early departure, the next day.

Early morning, drive to the airport for departure to onward destination.
